I'm a technician at a dealer. It's a cya thing. There's a lot of after market electronics out there that will work with some vehicles but not others, and we have no idea when people are dropping random bs off.. We ran into an F-150 with led tail lamps that the customer installed an after...
I'm a Ford tech and I think this is the case. The one's I've seen come across this forum all seem to have "upgraded" rear suspension. I'm betting it's a matter of the 4 link forcing it to twist with high articulation. Stock suspension may not have enough weight/travel to cause the issue.
I'm also 6'4, and can't get the seat into a position I like. The recessed portion of the back hit's my shoulder blades weird anyway I try it on the manual seat, the power version can raise the knees and lower your butt. I'm a ford tech, and have been doing some studying. There's 1 extra power...
I'm a ford tech that responded on facebook and didn't get a response. You mentioned modifications to your suspension on there. Can you post what they are or show pictures? If you took a stock vehicle in and said "My axle is leaking" there would be no reason this shouldn't be covered, and no...
Well, you definitely got hosed on the price, and it's been through a mod shop. I'm a for Tech, and have had vehicles down for extended periods of time due to parts issues. The record so far is 14 months for an ABS module on a car with less than 1k miles. A lot of parts we look up are back...
That's incorrect the dealer will get the rebate from Ford after selling you the vehicle. If you haven't altered the order in any way and did the 23 roll over in September of 22 you should at least be getting pricing from that date when you signed the contract. Someone on here can see look up...
I'm also NWA. I'm a service technician at Springdale Ford. Yeah, they're everywhere now. I swear I pass 4 or 5 on the way home every day. We rarely have had any. All but the 3 have been abandoned orders, and those have been few and far between.
One for dealer stock aside from our original mannequins and it was a 4 door base soft top. We've had several abandoned orders. This week we've received 4 so far, all customer orders. No idea if/when we'll get another stock order.
I work at a dealership. It's not from ford directly, but dealerships are getting chastised for orders not being registered in the ordering customers name. It's probably just a measure to let the dealer make the money if they're going to have to take the hit from ford. Odds are they aren't...
The motorcraft as-built data site started showing my vin as valid but with no modules, and when I checked it later I was getting vin invalid. Now it's showing my vin number with no modules populated again. Programming any of them should be near the last stages of a build though.
I'm 260 for the 18th. My vin number came alive for a while with no modules, then the vin stopped working again. Anyone with an 18th build date have modules coming alive? Still no emails from ford here.
