  1. Is it possible to own a Bronco without a broken windshield?

On my 3rd windshield on my 2021 with 25K miles. After first replacement, changed to zero glass deductable for $15/yr
  2. How many windshields (including replacements) have you gone through?

Not as good as $15/yr insurance...
  3. How many windshields (including replacements) have you gone through?

My zero deductable glass insurance was only a $15 a year bump over $500 deductable. The first one was painful before I switched. 2nd and 3rd - not so much. And they had nothing to do with following distance. I guess Alabama has lots of quarries...
  4. Ham Radio Install with DIY Mount

Zero change. The close edge is behind that rubber strip and the panel falls away from the radio from there, leaving plenty of room.
  5. Upgrade Your Ford Bronco for Outdoor Adventures with the BRONCO 2021-2023 SINGLE CROSS BAR - Order Now and Save

That link only shows me the full rack, not the additional crossbar. How do I find the single crossbar?
  6. Super Celebration East 2023 Photos – Post Yours!

A little slice of the Alabama Bronco Society area - you can see the @Mountains2Metal display just beyond The Fat Bear food truck - the cardboard box in the back of the blue Bronco was their Rear Cargo Tray before I installed it the next day. Fantastic product and SO easy to install.
  7. Ham Radio Install with DIY Mount

Thanks! Yes, along the base of the windshield (simply push it under the foam that fills the gap to the dashboard). I couldn't find a passage from there to under the dash, so just ran it around the base of the A pillar. From there I removed the handle and side trim and that gives access under...
  8. Ham Radio Install with DIY Mount

Thanks to the guy that annonimously posted a link to a zip file of the entire service manual! (you can search for it in this forum)
  9. Ham Radio Install with DIY Mount

I looped some metal strap over the top of the column. I made a bracket for the radio then secured the bracket to the strap. Zero drilling, but that's not the only way.
  10. Ham Radio Install with DIY Mount

Hey, Dennis. No issues in ~7 months. No tools required - it just pivots down once the clips disengage. The clips are loud, but once you've done it once, it's trivial. In this pic from the service manual, all those purple spots on the back are the clips. I grab just to the left of the column...
  11. Fullscreen Apple CarPlay OTA Update Coming Soon! - Per Ford (Mike Levine)

Mine finally updated last night (Sept 2021 build). Over the weekend I changed the update schedule from Sunday night at 2 am to every night at 2 am. Don't know if this broke the ice, but it's worth a try if you're waiting...
  12. Ham Radio Install with DIY Mount

The larson antenna doesn't come with anything. I purchased an NMO base with coax https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M255NL2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I liked this one because the PL259 was not soldered on - trimming the coax to my need was trivial. I doubt mine is 4 ft...
