  1. Trip report for first run to Moab with my 2022 Bronco Badlands.

Bet he did the "baby lions back" the now closed lions back was a scary SOB.
  2. Newby off roader needs advice

A badlands on 33s should do fine on any of those. I have done fins in a stock FJ with no problem. We were in Moab in March with the Bronco and did fins and seven mile rim no issues. You will most likely drag your rear recovery points with the 33s. It should do fine. With the exception of hells...
  3. Newby off roader needs advice

Last I saw, Corkscrew wasn't cleared yet. You need to check the Ouray County website. Both of the trails you are doing are basically dirt roads no rock crawling. Some wouldn't bother airing down for those two but if you want to and have a compressor it would be mostly for comfort and not...
  4. air mattress or camping pad suggestions?

NEMO Roamer is a great pad. Not inexpensive but it's really comfortable. Less than a couple of nights at a hotel.
  5. Bronco Off-Roadeo allowing return reservations

There are plenty of us who have been to Moab many times who will let you tag along for free. There is no reason to pay $2,000 for a one day trail run. I think they are doing it on dome plateau which isn't that hard. Just watch the forum and find a group. Save your money for mods.
  6. Why is ford recommending that we over inflate our tires.

Didnt notice the over inflated allowed on the sidewall. I was reading it while airing up in Moab after off roading. May have been a bit of mud on the sidewall I will look at it when clean. thanks for the info.
  7. Why is ford recommending that we over inflate our tires.

You don't raise PSi for less load. It's all related to heat buildup in the tires. for the weight of the Bronco it should be at most 32. I suspect Ford is still stinging from the Explorer roll over under inflation.
  8. Why is ford recommending that we over inflate our tires.

Been running them at 20 off road. But will try 32
  9. Why is ford recommending that we over inflate our tires.

But the tire is rated for a "maximum" load at 35 PSI putting 39 PSI in it won't increase the maximum load of the tire. All that adding the extra PSI is doing is making the tire less compliant and probably worse handling.
  10. Why is ford recommending that we over inflate our tires.

And Ford is saying to inflate the tires to 4 PSI above that. Doesn't make sense.
  11. Why is ford recommending that we over inflate our tires.

On my 315/70/17 Goodyear sidewalls and the Goodyear website the max load rating is at 35psi. Why is Ford putting 39 on the door jam as the required psi? Seems like they are asking you to over inflate the tires. The load rating at 35 is more than enough for the GVWR of the Bronco.
  12. Steps/Sliders Question

I replaced the factory rock sliders on my Badlands with Metaltech. They bolt to the frame and are good if you ever want to go rock crawling. That being said it sounds like you would be fine with any of the options that use the pinch weld. Just be aware that they are more step than rock rail.
  13. Installed Metal-tech 2021+ Ford Bronco 2-door Sliders

How was the install? I saw the video was that usefull?
  14. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

    On the sand
  15. Guys, why the heck does everyone debadge their trim emblems?

Pulled them off my Badlands Sasquatch, just thought they looked like an afterthought on Fords part. I might put a Bronco script on at some point, but I'm in no hurry.
