i've been able to garage it since i bought it. and i run through touchless automatics quite frequently. i haven't combed over every inch of the top just yet, but the sides seem fine minus these two small cracks at the hinges. will investigate more tomorrow.
Well I'm just a couple months shy of 4 years bronco ownership, and I'm finally joining the cracked hard top club.
these are both right at the rear window hinges, caught this while I was putting my starlink on the roof this morning.
guess i'll keep an eye on these and see what happens...
trail turn assist, it's pointless and just tears up the trails. (fun on ice)
goat modes - also pointless. But i also learned how to drive a stick shift when i was like 10, so i don't need computer help lol.
i top off every single time i fill up. and it's been 100-105, no problems at all. been topping off since the day i brought the bronco home almost 4 years ago.
actually i've got more information now, those may look like hammer marks but they're not. he put the aftermarket springs on and never pulled that lower nut off, just pulled the upper and leaned the knuckle out to swap springs. so it was indeed "as-installed by ford" on the lower ball joint...
i just finished torquing all my stuff. my upper 3 nuts on the shock tower got about 1/4 turn out of. upper ball joint is uniball on mine and tight, no movement. tie rods tights, sway bar tight, lower ball joint 1/4 turn out of drivers side, 1/8 turn out of passenger side before they got back...
