Can we get someone with a strong background in physics to weigh in on this? There’s a lot at play here—tires, ground conditions, wheel base width/length, etc etc—and I’m curious to hear how someone knowledgeable in applied physics would break this down.

I imagine they’re giving me an extra layer of protection. The thing I’m most enjoying about the running boards, though, is how much they’re saving the outside edge of my driver’s side seat from getting smashed down. Literally, one of the things I hate the most is how that edge gets smashed down...

This is absolute truth.

I get a kick out of these posts. I think these folks are doing amazing things, and I’m a tad jealous, but with four kids I can’t even imagine having the time to do this kind of stuff. The best I can hope for is no one leaving chip crumbs all over the back seat, 😂.
