You’re still going to have the same issue. All adding preload does is change the starting point of the travel. Shock will still travel upwards the same amount. You’ll need a body lift or the coil over bump stop spacers.
No I never did. I think I’m eventually going to redesign the swingarm and set it up to latch to the bumper instead of being attached to the tailgate.
Just wanted to give an around 1 year update on my top. Still glad I spent the money on it. Haven’t had any issues minus a defroster wire coming unglued. Rocking the bestop skyrider on it currently.
I just changed out my S&B dry filter with the Donaldson one. It’s a funky fit but I feel better using this filter since it’s what a lot of my big tractors use as an air filter.
Yeah I’ve had it for like a month now and it’s a surprisingly good sub. I typically have my sub knob turned to half since the sub can overpower the other speakers and that’s listening to metal music mostly. Hits harder than the alpine sub I had before it that was in a ported box.
Right now I have my 8 channel amp set up in the little cubby under the rear. You may be able to squeeze it into the space that’s available behind the Stealthbox. That’s where I currently have the amp powering mine placed but it’s a small sized amp.
Can get yourself a LOD Offroad bumper. It’s ties into multiple locations on both the frame and crossmember so you wouldn’t have to worry about the hitch bending things.
