Finally installed mine today, it was very easy. I used the same 10mm nut above the aux switches for ground. Then wrapped each of the 2 power wires around one of the green wires and isolated with electrical tape. I don't trust splice taps and this doesn't compromise anything.
I think you're confusing the quality of those vehicles OEM filters with the quality of the Broncos. I'm not saying you need anything fancy, I don't think this filter is fancy at all. But have you compared the quality of the filters you're mentioning?

If you held the S&B in your hands you would understand the why. I'm only a diesel mechanic, but I've never felt an air filter so insubstantial. Normal operations it's probably fine but anything with extra air moving, especially near the end of it's lifespan, is going to provide a lot of suction...

This is why I find most distribution blocks suspect for anything that has a lot of vibration. If there isn't a way of locking those screw down terminals it's a fire waiting to happen. This is also why all of my wiring has extra loom to prevent rubbing, every component is individually fused, and...
Touche friend. 🤣
Hopefully the tooling marks are a one off. I understand everyone's frustration in waiting, if not the continuous complaints, and agree if you decide to wait instead of asking for a refund the product should meet full expectations. We are after all waiting because we expect top...

Holy sheisse the 2-3 people on here crying at their mommas breast can certainly bomb a thread. Here's an idea! Cry silently and leave this thread for actual updates.
Good info for others so thank you for sharing. Glad to hear it resolved itself.
My Indian motorcycle is the first canbus bike I've owned and it acts up if the battery isn't in peak condition. I wonder if the BMS is more about protecting this in our Broncos than it is protecting the battery...
