No. It won’t fit with it. They give you some insulation material to apply to the outside of the box as a replacement.

I didn't try a battery disconnect fix, my R button (along with the icon and all) just started working after the truck went to sleep for a few hours. All is fine with mine. Planning on trying it on my Ranger Raptor as well.
