the box comes with a water barrier you put in first and then make small holes to put thr bolts through. Reality is in deep enough water, it would still get in.
that said, if you’re in water that deep, then there are probably other areas where it would get in as well.
It is both bigger and deeper. Additionally, with the ford slide out tailgate, the area above this is open to the air. I have a good inch or so of free space across the entirety of the floor. Should be plenty to cool it.
Also beneficial, there isn't a muffler directly below this box on the...
Yup. Ran the wiring harness to the front under the car using an Expedition Essentials harness. Wired the trigger switch to upfitter 5. Works quite well.
i also have the factory tailgate slide out, which insulates the noise pretty well
My sons and I installed an ARB twin into my Braptor today. I wanted to keep it as hidden as possible and came up with this install. I think it turned out pretty well.
Parts used:
- DV8 compressor/storage bin
- ARB air chuck
- 3/8” push-lock air lines and fittings
- Dominion Off-road...

I have a 2023 Raptor that I put the Whipple tune on when the truck had 100 miles on it. One thing I noticed is that my gear indicator is always orange now. However, I don’t remember if it was that way before the tune or not...
You're referring to the shutters on the front, which were removed. These are passive shutters on the rear of the intercooler. They form a tunnel up into the radiator fan intake, to presumably pull cool air through the intercooler at idle.
I installed the Whipple Megacooler today and ran into an issue. I wanted to see if anyone else ran into this problem.
There is a step which requires installing the plastic shutters from the back of the intercooler onto the new intercooler. I ran into a problem at this point. On one side of...
I also have a Defender V8 and a Braptor. They are simply different trucks. The Defender being far more luxurious (and my daily driver) while the Braptor is more like a giant toy. If I had to limit myself to one, it would be the Defender for practical purposes (better cameras, better...
