OP is going the other way, from a 40 to a 55..... so the wheel was moved outboard from factory for 26 vs 25.
Also, this would not apply to an Outer Banks as its a different suspension system. Badlands is basically running a Sasquatch suspension without the larger tires.
My understanding is that the older badlands wheels donāt fit the 26 without the sway bar disconnect. It was optional in 26 and it caused the offset change. So if you didnāt order the sway bar disconnect on your 26. You might not be able to run the older wheels
outerbanks grill has been a black painted version of the big bend grill. Wild track was a black painted version of the badlands. Base shared with black diamond And now itās the big bend grill and base and black diamond. Stopped is a panted badlands grill. Raptor is unique And so is heritage But...
Outer banks has the stitched dash pad in 26.
I prefer the 60th grill. The two tone looks nice and I am tired of all the grills being so dark. Having to choose dark grey or black, or choosing stark white is not great.
It has strap on the inside that attach it to the wheel, so itās not just the outer elastic, but I havenāt seen any way to lock it. Theoretically you might be able to attach a lock to those straps inside the cover locking it to the wheel maybe.
I had xpel on the previous Bronco just on the lower rockers. It got dirt underneath by the textured paint and ended up with air bubbles, it looked bad. Also seen it over graphics, and it looks bad. Good choice to do graphics over the PPF.
I swear the sound is different as well, but I cant tell how they did it, or if it is just an in cabin "speaker" sound. it sounds deeper though, I agree.
Stitched IP topper is new on the OBX in 26 as it used to be only Badlands in 25 right?
I also am LOVING my 60th Anniversary package. The wheels are so good looking and I love that it has a unique Grill that no other broncos are running.
