Oh, and you may also have to dig through this section of the ABS to disable cruise control with ACC. If you disable it in the IPMA only, you may have some incompatible config codes if it is not also disabled in the ABS.
I think you would need to disable ACC and TJA here in the IPMA:
There is no info in the Bronco or Raptor spreadsheet for the CCM, but I think disabling ACC in the IPMA would be enough. There are also settings for IACC in the IPMA that may need to be disabled if disabling ACC alone is not...
For a lease, you always negotiate the payment. Just like in finance deals, there is interest involved in a lease. However, the lease rates do not have to be disclosed to customers verbally nor on the contract, so they can sell you the vehicle under invoice and mark up the rate.
With the...
There is one reason and one reason only this would happen, and that is the update wiped the configuration for the drive modes you are missing. You mentioned in the OP that the brake booster recall was one of the things addressed in the dealer visit which means they most likely updated the ABS...
Based on the "OTA reset" procedure they are describing, it sounds like the vehicle got stuck in inhibit mode during the OTA install. It's very rare, but it happens. I wish FORScan would add a service procedure that allow owners to do this themselves.
You're right....it does have it enabled. I don't drive it enough to have ever tried to use it. Good.....one less rabbit hole to fall down through. :ROFLMAO:
Ah ok. I know how to enable it on vehicles with just an IPMA, but not sure on these. Interesting that the video posted requires a BCM change to get it to work. I would have never thought of looking for TJA in there. I'm going to try to enable it on my girl's Bronco Sport to see what happens.
This is a known issue as of about a year ago after a certain GWM update. The GWM is hung up. The only way to fix it is to disconnect the 12v battery for 20 minutes to fully de-energize the module and force a hard reset. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery for 20 minutes and when you...
Edit: TRON has not been added to the full-size Bronco yet......nothing I wrote below is applicable in this case.
The problem is TRON. Ford introduced TRON to these cars in 2025 I believe and the 2023 models did not have it. The HCM is on the TRON network, so there is no way to program the 2023...
Yes, the OTA you got in January was 10.1.0 which is also an APIM update that precedes the TCU update you just got. Certain modules (GWM, APIM, TCU and sometimes IPC) need to be updated in a particular sequence, so that is perfectly normal behavior.
