Hey, they brought back our Broncos, so you never know.

I got a flashlight and inspected my wiring on the passenger side. Everything looks really well protected on mine with the exception of right at the connectors, but that's not going to rub anything. I think it's good to go, but I will take it in for the inspection when the recall "fix" is announced.

The wife's Lincoln turns the cameras on automatically when parking. The Bronco makes you do it manually - a shame, really, but it's only a minor annoyance. After all, I spent most of my life parking without benefit of cameras.

OEM gives you the Bronco markings if that's important to you. Otherwise it's probably the same glass. Most aftermarket is made by Fuyao in the US. I have heard they also make the OEM glass for Ford.

Mine have always sounded hollowish. I thought it was just the lightweight nature of the removable doors. Jeep doors sound pretty janky, too.

That sounds like a real possibility. Hope this fixes your issue.

Hey, just pull the parking brake every time you stop. :crackup: Actually I miss the auto hold, too. Sure was convenient for drive thrus, etc.

There's one way to be certain. Take them off and drive it. No more pops = It was the plates. Still pops = something else.

I use a big old Shopvac brand shop vac. I think it's 16 gallons. It has VERY powerful suction. I believe 6HP rated. The biggest problem with it is the size of the hose that won't fit into tight areas. I do have a crevice tool for it, but even that is a bit too large for the tighter areas...

Looks like the same ones I bought, and yeah, the instructions took a bit of "deciphering." BTW, for those doing this in the future - I found that I did NOT need to remove the wiring harness as shown in the instructions. It's possible to work around it (carefully).

Possibly dumb question: Can the soundscreen windshield be installed on earlier Broncos needing a replacement?
