I don't know which engineer at Ford though the vertical Tetris block RPM gauge was a good Idea. I can only hope that person and all the others who encourage that and didn't say anything when they had a chance all stump their pinky toes weekly on sharp edges for the rest of their lives.
Definitely do NOT wire your amp main power supply through the upfitter switches. JUST DON'T.
As stated above. Run a dedicated 0-4 gauge power wire with a minimum 50amp fuse in line and use the upfitter 10amp switch to powered the remote turn on for the amp.
Put a 5amp fuse in line for the remote...
Word to the wise.
I have had my Injen charge pipes on now about 8 months and I recently added the CVfabrication Intercooler. I don't know how in the love of Sam I forgot to tighten down one of my couplers and I got on it this morning to pass a truck and as soon as it dropped down and spooled ...
Yeah,
Absolutely no visible damage or unusual rust.
The grease in the boot was just cooked. And liquidity it had no viscosity. I haven't been water forging. Only on the beaches and no where near the salt water. So we were kinda mind blown.
Definitely, worth it.
I have charge pipes, intake, exhaust and intercooler upgrades. The intercooler and ProCal are the biggest changes. No more heat soak fade in traffic and transmission logic and throttle response are completely different.
Just get the FPPC tune. I did mine last weekend it completely stopped all that nonsense with the higher gear search. Everything works more linear through acceleration as is should. The logic for gear search is nigh and day difference.
I had to have my front drive shaft replaced out of pocket last Novemberish.
Mine started doing the mad sparrows low speed under 20mph.
Took it into 2 different dealerships around me. Both couldn't replicate the sound. Wouldn't open a ticket.
I took it to my trusty Off-Road shop.
Shout out to...
I just installed mine last night.
I noticed a significant difference in the attitude of the transmission shifting.
I'm at 14k miles
Charge pipes/ intake and bigger intercooler and cat back.
The whole system is lag free now. I was kinda of expecting a more uniform shift pattern only.
It seems...
