I looked into those, but found a few things I didn’t care for. The Amp XL do not project out as far as the RSE steps an consequently don’t offer as much slung rock protection. Also for the money the RSE is a much stronger product. Being that RSE has them on sale right now it was a no brainer...
Thanks for the heads up. Just snagged those as well. They have a good deal right now. Saved $1300 for on everything (steps, armor, lights and door delete kit).
My main wants were to protect against flying rocks, occasionally touching down on semi hard ground no boulders. Need a step for people with bad backs. Amp steps are nice, but offer zero protection. Even though i know it will get scratches and stone chips, parking lots dings still piss me off...
Thanks! I ordered them today. But still curious on the freezing aspect. I suppose i will find out one way or another. The solve so many issues for me I just don’t see a better option out there.
Anyone from Michigan (or anywhere that has snow and freezing temps) running Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders? Curious how they do during the winter with snow melt freezing inside them? Is this even an issue? Also been reading some past issues of battery drain…is this still an issue?
