Just wanted to add this to archives in case anyone is thinking about doing this. Wrapped the roof rails in gloss white to match the wheels and soon to be added white script badge. Cost $500 and was immediately scratched when getting the top back on. Should have applied an extra layer of PPF on the bars immediately after doing the wrap. Don’t make the same mistake.

Wheels are Fifteen52 Analog HD in white but with black center caps. 17” x 8.5”. Zero offset. 275/75/17.

Here’s how they poke with standard flares. I’ve since swapped for SAS flares.

Most that material is semi self healing. Try some heat.

Will do! Though it tore through. Maybe the heat will help smooth it. I’ll probably end up cleaning the wound and applying dime sized patches.

You heat it it will stretch. Just don’t open flame it. You’d be surprised how durable and workable that material is. You can flash torch but open flame will turn it black with soot. When In doubt add a bucking bronco decal.

Now you got me wondering if that’ll work with Oxford White with the bars wrapped in black

I'm looking to do this in black with my unscheduled Hot Pepper Red. Even with the same wheels (in black of course)

It looks great and was something I had been planning way back when having a MY21 allocation (still no VIN to this day). Nice to see this put into action and implemented well.

BTW: Just to be accurate, the part you wrapped is called the "sports bars" by Ford. The roof rails would be the rack which mounts above the roof.

Black bars with black accents is a great idea

Ah, THAT’S what you call them. We were wondering. Roll bars didn’t sound right.

Looking good. Any interest in selling the stock flares?
