While waiting for my Bronco Badlands in Carb Gray to be built, I put out a lot of feelers in case a customer order came in that someone didn’t want. Once the ‘22.5 and ‘23 Wildtraks began coming with the HOSS 3.0 Raptor rack/tie rods and Fox suspension, I nearly changed my order… Cactus Gray has been my backup color as well…
Tues I got a call that a ‘23 Wildtrak with Lux came in and became available. I managed to negotiate to a $3500 ADM, but they had $2500 in non-negotiable add-ons for paint/glass/interior protection, tint and GPS/theft recovery. They honored my $2395 ‘22 Private Offer cert though, so all of the add-ons were nearly a wash.
Then the finance guy matched the Granger 8yr/100k Ford Protect Premium ESP for $50 over cost, so another ~$1200 off. So after everything, really only ~2400 ADM. He also managed to negotiate between vendors to get a great finance rate.
The opportunity was a win/win. There will be the dilemma of to sell/trade/keep when my order comes in, but good options either way.
