I like that bronco emblem and the squatch badge. Very cool đź‘Ť
Looks like the mud gets past the front flaps a little and splatters through the steps. Do rocks stay off the paint?
Very nice ride and hope to get mine in another month or so.
Thank you for the compliments! Because the rock slider / side steps I have are partially open, yes mud still gets past. But they stopped about 90% of the mud as they were caked. I have had zero rock chips since I put these on. They do a good job of blocking rocks from flying up. I hear rocks hitting the underside of the steel side steps all the time, but don’t seem to make it through the openness of the side steps.

I will have the full running boards on mine but i will probably put flaps on the front like you did. I think they look good and not big like some i have seen. Nice ride.

These flaps are RekGen if you’re wondering. Perfect size and not obnoxious looking.

Also, I started with the factory OEM full running boards. They stop everything from flinging up on the paint, which is good. They were awesome for a side step, but not great for a rock rail. That’s why I switched mine to the DV8 rock slider / side step combo. These ones are full steel and sit up 2” higher than the OEM running boards.

Good to know. I don’t plan on any rock crawling so I’ll stick with oem boards. But i think the steps are way better looking.
thanks for the info and enjoy that blue beauty.

Here was my setup before I changed the running boards. I was totally good with the factory running boards until I started doing trail runs, now I’m hooked and can’t seem to get enough, so I’m getting more aggressive, lol. The factory boards are just fine for daily driving and occasional off-roading.

I couldn't help myself but park next to the Velocity Blue Bronco Sport when I was picking up my license plates. The owner came out of the store and loved to see the two parked side by side. He said he will upgrade to the full-size Bronco some day.

I’m planning on getting the Oracle Bronco letter lights. I like your setup with the white letters and amber light. Can you please post some night pics? I have a VB OBX too so yours is a good comparison. Thank you.
