2023 Black Diamond in the stable.

I waited 18 months for delivery on my original order which was a 2021 Badlands in A51, 2 door, mid package, no sas, 2.7 auto. I owned it a little over a year and traded it for a 2023 Badlands in A51 4 door hardtop , no sas, lux. During the same time frame my wife drove a 2021 big bend soft top and a 2023 big bend softop. A couple of months ago we sold her 2023 big bend and i gave her the 23 4dr Badlands with a plan to order a 2 door Black Diamond in shadow black with squatch. I went to my dealership and he had my exact build on the lot that the original ordering customer had decided not to buy. I brought it home that day.

Been gathering parts for a week and will be making a few improvements.

RC high mount with Warn Zeon 10-s with control pack relocation kit (under hood)
Ford performance hood struts
ZRoadz full length steps
Oracle LED third brake light (deleting factory)
window tint
added my original roof rack I saved from the 2021 as well.
already removed rear seats and belts. Will build my own platform.

lots of other stuff but this is my weekends work ahead.

counting the 2022 Base/Squatch my daughter ordered (9 month wait) we have owned 6 total.

It took awhile for me to figure out what I wanted but I think we are done buying Broncos. The wife loves her A51 Badlands 4 door HT and I like the Black Diamond 2 door. I tried to get the dealer (a close friend of mine) to give me the "buy 5 get one free deal" but he refused lol.

The plan is to drive the wheels off these three over the next 10 years. threw in a couple random pics of the previous rides as well.

As for pricing I. bought 4 of them at MSRP, 1 at 5K over MSRP and the Black diamond at 1500.00 under MSRP.

Seriously though, what makes you like the BD 2dr more than BL 2dr? I love the rims on my Cactus Gray 2dr BD, I think they're the perfect match. But I'm putting non-sas BL 2dr shocks on her asap.

I like them both and if there had been a Badlands in shadow black with sasquatch i would have bought it instead probably. My original 2 door had mid package so it had a few other bells and whistles the BD doesnt. At the end of the day I chose to just spend a little less and not worry about the auto sway bar disconnect and heated seats. My favorite wheels on the Bronco is definitely the Bad lands wheel.

got the RC high mount and Zeon mounted up today. Waiting on the control module relocation kit to show up so i can finish it.

So early this week I ordered the JCR pre-runner bar, door pockets, and compressor under hood bracket. The day after I ordered it JCR called just to check in, say hello, and see if I had any questions reference the parts. I was expecting a 2 to 3 week wait for the delivery. Just got a text from Fed-Ex that all three pieces are arriving today !!

Finished the zeon install. Put the control pack under the hood on a fabbed bracket. With the remote I dont need to open the hood to use it. Running a factory cover to keep the elements off the rope. The JCR pre runner bar is a really really well thought out and built piece.

Another fan of the JCR door pockets. Soooooo much better than the rope mesh factory stuff. Also installed the ZRoadz steps. Solid piece of equipment as well.

Today I ordered 5 new Toyo AT III's in 315/70r17 load range D for the steelies. It was between the Toyo RT trail and the AT III and based on my use I need a snow rated tire so the AT III's got the nod. I did go with the "D" rated tired due to my experience with Wyoming and Idaho rocks with load range C tires. I am planning on keeping my sasquatch flares and running 1.25" spacers to sit the wheel out where it belongs in the wheel opening.

Also determined the pre runner, winch mount and winch have squatted the front an inch. I'll be needing to rectify that as well with some perch collars I think?
