I can say that I just set the codes for everything enabled in rugedraw's post...so use 'F' for the changed digit. My cruise control functions correctly now. But I have some interesting DTC on my IPC...I don't think it is related to the 'F'. LOL

Which module is reporting the code? What exactly did you change and what was there before you changed it?

Did you do a PCM relearn yet? Sounds like you have a config mismatch betweem the IPC and PCM

Before I get everyone spun up. I am going to do some tests.

I am going to reload the AS built to the IPC for the 2025 Strope Bronco that i used before.

Then I will slowly change back the codes for lack of adaptive cruise control I had and the seat belt pop up.

I like a dumb butt did not do things methodically and did not track my original as build config well either...and to top it off my pc used to save the original changes took a dump and was replaced.

Let me get back to you all with my findings.

Ok so the fault on the generator miss match (P106B DTC) was a result of trying to get the seat belt monitor to no longer pop up and remain until you hit ok.

I saw a post where be changes below were used to try to accomplish this task. Basically zeroing out these lines in the IPC as built.

720-13-01 0000-0000-0000
720-13-02 0000-0000-0000
720-14-01 0000-0000-0000

While it did do as advertised for removing all pop ups for seatbelts...it also created the P106B DTC. So I am going to wait until some on has a tried and true method on a pre 2025 Bronco with a 2025 or later digital dash installed.

Back to hitting 'OK'...lol

I have a salvage display coming. The donor vehicle is a 25 Outer Banks 2.7 non-sac, and from the steering wheel picture looks like it has lux, because of the ACC buttons being present. Looks like if fell on it's head with only 32 miles on the odometer.

My question is can I use this VIN since my vehicle is a 22 Wildtrak with lux? I think OBX do not have the Baja goat mode, would I need to add that back in or should I find a different VIN?

My two cents - I'd look for a VIN that best matches your Bronco options. My install went smooth, everything functions as it should with no need to change any other settings. Rrmember to SAVE EVERY Module SEPARATELY from your existing Bronco, namig them anything that you find easy to associate with your VIN. Then load the new VIN into the IPC Module Only. It will sort out only the new IPC Module from the downloaded file within your vehicle IPC Module.

I never had to replace a VIN I used to order my part with my 21 Wildtrack VIN...I used the 2025 Strope VIN to pull the as is built file and to program the IPC to make sure the display was programed to be a Bronco IPC. Since yours is coming from a Bronco...I think you will just use Forscan to change the mileage. And make any adjustments you want like making ACC or...etc. But there are much smarter people on this thread than I....just look at my posts and you will agree...LOL.

The actual firmware on all the 2025 IPC's are the same. The only thing that changes from vehicle to vehicle is the config.

Yea, you can just back up the ab on your current IPC, or hit "write all" when you put the new IPC in and it will pull the ab from Ford and flash it.

Thank you all for contributing to this thread. I am looking to do the same upgrade to my 21 Bronco.

As far as I understand (correct me if I am wrong):

1. Order the following parts:

• N2DZ-78044D70-AA - Plastic bezel
• S2DZ-10849-D - Cluster Service Part #
• If they need the engineering part # it's S2DT-10849-BF

2. Find a similar spec 2025 bronco from autotrader and retrieve its VIN. Use the following website to paste that VIN to obtain the 2025 As Built IPC data for FORScan:

• https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

3. Open FORSCan and back up existing As Built data from the vehicle before swapping the cluster and bezel.

4. Swap the cluster and bezel

5. Open FORScan and write the 2025 As Built data for the IPC ONLY (do not write the as built for any other modules)

6. Done!

One question I do have regarding the 2025 As Build data from an existing 2025 VIN. My bronco spec below:

• Lux OBX 2.7
• non-sas
• Tow Package
• 4.27 gear ratio with rear lockers

The 2025 broncos I am finding online has all my specs, except for the rear lockers (therefore, I assume not the 4.27 gear ratio). WIll this be an issue?

This is what I am using as my guide when I do the install. This seems to be like the most complete summary in the 38+ pages of the thread.

I would love to have somebody summarize/remind/explain what needs to happen if I have the tow package, or other features that might be or not be on my donor VIN as built data. It looks like there are additional Forscan changes modifying individual values.

@Alfa The only thing I would add is that if you have used forscan before and have a vehicle profile...do not load it again. This is the pop up that happens after forscan connects and loads in all the modules on initial connection to the vehicle. Selecting 'yes' cause me to not be able to write to the 2025 IPC.

I am supposed to get the bezel in tomorrow and get by Bronco back from the body shop where the Toyota tacoma stain is being removed from the drivers side doors. if this is the case, I will probably try installing the cluster this weekend. Looks straight forward enough...

I also bought some JL Audio C1-400x speaker to replace the stock B&O ones since I will have the dash apart.

Now I just need to find a replacement driver's side Raptor side step since that did most of the defending against the Tacoma that tried to share my lane.

Oh and the cluster I bought has the slightest scratch on it. Not really visible unless you move it just right in the light. When ordering the bezel, I saw that a replacement lens was $28, so I ordered one of those too. Good to know for people finding used ones.
