You need to add a feature that allows us to utilize rear facing / chase lights.

Here is my rig, I use it to chase race trucks down in Baja, and support off road communities in southern California.

And yes, that’s a custom half rack I made for myself in CAD for chasing races. I would love to compare yours and test it down in Baja in the coming months.

1/2 rack seems great for long-distance travel with a roof luggage container.

Looks great! It would look even better on my Bronco! It’s a daily driver with an occasional drive down a local beach.

Does anyone recommend any particular brackets for putting the traction boards on the roof rack?
I was going to get the inside bracket, but had not ordered yet.
TIA.

Hey Bronco6G members,

We’re excited to run a small giveaway here and give back to the Bronco community.

This time, we’re giving away one Broaddict 4-Door Half Rack (Hard Top), designed specifically for the 2021–2024 4-door Ford Bronco. It’s a practical setup for camping, road trips, and everyday gear carrying without taking over the entire roof.
It’s designed as a half rack so you can still enjoy open-air driving without a full roof setup, and the lightweight design keeps things simple for daily use, camping, and short trips.

You can check out the rack here if you’d like to see what it looks like:

Got my gift on Friday. Put it together last night. Build quality is great. Lightweight. I will put it on and post pictures when I have a friend help me set it. I do not want to take a chance of scratching my roof trying to do it alone.

Edit: The packaging on this product was by far some of the best I have ever see. Each part was well protected and fit neatly and nicely in the box. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Still not mounted yet, but hopefully soon...

OK everyone. This has been a while coming. I got it on over the New Year Holiday and then got sick. I am finally well enough to make a post. I am attaching a ton of pictures to this so everyone can see how it looks and how it went.
Pros:
Sturdy
Well built
Attractive
Light weight
Cons:
Harder to install than directions said.
Parts were marked wrong from the factory (China)
Not sure how I will attach my traction boards and other items to it.

Let's go through these.
Pros - This thing is built like a tank. Mostly aluminum. Very little steel (the brackets that mount it to the roof). Paint is great. Clean with no imperfections. pretty easy to set on roof since it is so light. Looks great on the Bronco.
Cons- This is a little more involved. When I was assembling it, the stickers did not match where the cross bars were meant o go. In other words, when I tried to put it together based on the stickers (supposed to help with assembly), the holes for the crossbars in the bases did not line up. I consulted with @BA OffRoad and they said it did not matter which way the bars went. That was a good enough answer for me. The bars were backwards (this meant that the "flatter" side of the cross bar was facing forward. When mounted properly, the bars have the aerodynamic shape of a wing and probably do not make any noise. Once I got it together, I did not want to set it on the roof by myself because I am short. I had a hand so we could set it up there without scratching anything.
When we did, the hooks that clamp under the roof would not all go where they needed to. I pulled the whole thing down and started to inspect. I found that 2 of the brackets are shorter which kept those two from connecting. I unbolted them and measured them. pic below
20260101_145844.webp

After reaching out to BA Offroad again, they told me they are the right brackets and those go on the back. When I turned the rack around to have the crossbars the right direction, the shorter brackets were on the front. I spun the whole thing around again so the shorter ones were on the back. Those two still would not go into place no matter how I pushed, prodded and cussed. I switched out the brackets pictured above front to back and tried again. Still a no go.
Since I was a Physics major, I put my brain to work. I took the crossbars lose from one side and hooked the base to the roof rack crevice made for brackets and then laid it on the roof. Once I pushed it all into place (easily I might add) it worked perfect! I then did the other side that had the crossbars still attached (sticking nearly straight in the air while I hooked the bracket). Success again.
I hooked the crossbars up loosely, secured all four base pieces, and then tightened up the crossbars.
I buttoned up everything and took some pics. There was one spot that a plastic cover did not fit well to the base, but the spot is small and not noticeable unless you are looking down from the top.
Overall this is a great roof rack that I will enjoy using. I definitely recommend it to anyone as long as the quality control is done to make sure the stickers are in the right place. The directions may need to be amended to reflect the way I put it together. OR use the longer bracket on the front and rear.

Overall score of this item is an A-. Quality fabulous, directions and assembly needs a little tweaking. Great help from @BA OffRoad to get it done!!

Awesome. I'm in. Would love to add to the hardtop for additional recovery gear while off-road.

What did you mount on the back for those Molle panels? I am exploring something similar for my 24 Badlands Sas.
