Right, I keep trying to forget that tailgate.Actually the tail gate is paint and the hood is wrapped.
Ah, the well-priced, lightly-used route. Great job. That makes the numbers work better for doing custom changes. Glad to see you got the proper '25 version.I got a killer deal on this one being used and they wanted to move it had right around 900mi on it when I got so, it was a deal couldn't pass up and, I wanted a Stroppe edition not a badlands. Wanted the squared fenders and not the rounded top had a Wildtrak and that was one thing I wasn't a fan of, always thought they should be squared off like their ancestors. Now its mine and not like everyone else on the road, granted there were less than 2k made according to some numbers.
I'd wager that it was used by the dealership's owner. They got to scoot around town where it served a promotional role.I got a killer deal on this one being used and they wanted to move it had right around 900mi on it when I got so, it was a deal couldn't pass up and, I wanted a Stroppe edition not a badlands. ...
NO it was a collector that "had to have it" than ended up trading it back in to the dealership he got it from for a F350, his other half made him do it.I'd wager that it was used by the dealership's owner. They got to scoot around town where it served a promotional role.
I don’t mind that it’s not an absolute doppelgänger for my ‘71 Stroppe because it is a tribute, but I will admit the black tailgate completely baffles me. I love seeing what everyone is doing to them. This is nice.I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of the Stroppe (at least not what Ford did for this package), but this makes it look 100x better IMO.
Well done!
I’d love to be able to some day own a classic Stroppe until that comes I’m going to pay my respects with “BAJA”I don’t mind that it’s not an absolute doppelgänger for my ‘71 Stroppe because it is a tribute, but I will admit the black tailgate completely baffles me. I'm pretty sure the orange lower trim pieces are wrapped as well. Seen videos of the poor job Ford did.Only the black is a wrap.
This is how they come from Ford.I'm pretty sure the orange lower trim pieces are wrapped as well. Seen videos of the poor job Ford did.
And even if it was "only the black" that was still a shitty way to do it since wraps need to be pulled off and redone every 5 years or so.
Yes, correct as an owner of one the hood is the only wrapped part. The rest is paint. This is how they come from Ford.
Looks like the only wrap is the hood..

Does Penske do the rest? This is how they come from Ford.

Those are a standard painted item.Does Penske do the rest?
Seems funny ford would do the tail corners.
