PTYYDS Hood Insulation Pad: Quiet the Ride, Protect the Paint

My 2024 Big Bend came with one from the factory and since the "Big Bend" was the base model that year, I'd guess all the upper trims came with one too.

Was it eliminated in 2025 or 2026 or is your somehow different or better than the Ford one ??

Nice build.... I would suggest one of those options included the hood liner. I do not know which one, maybe the mid package?

222A Mid pkg. is my guess as well, but remember this is still just "one step up" from the base 2024 Bronco (Big Bend 221A, there were 8 higher up Bronco models in 2024). So if there are higher up models that typically did not come with it, I'd guess it was a mistake that mine came with one .

Maybe someone needs to do a survey to see if we can figure out if there was any rhyme or reason to the factory hood liner !!

Option packages changed from year to year.... So I would expect fluctuations between model years with the same options.

The reason is that, while Ford keeps increasing the price of the Bronco by a good margin, they are also quietly removing options from the vehicles as a sneaky way to cut costs. My 2025 Badlands, Lux, SAS didn't come with one. But, they also quietly eliminated the wireless charging pad and auto dimming rear view mirror. Very sneaky Ford.

Yeah, my 2023 Heritage with mid package had it. They sneakily removed it on later 2025 builds. I hear they snuck out some options in 2026 as well. I think the zone lighting was removed from the lux package. Anyways, removing the hood insulation saves a few bucks and over a couple hundred thousands vehicles, it adds up.

Never used the charge pad .aside from trying it and worked well....my Huawei Pura battery lasts forever while the Samsung S9 is plugged into data port permanently for streaming so battery always full.

It serves the same purpose as the OEM one. We mainly offer it for Broncos that didn't come with one, or as a replacement for damaged pads.
