Keep your cab smelling like you actually use it.

If you're putting miles on your Bronco on dirt roads and forest trails, you know the stock interior smell doesn't last — and most air fresheners smell like a gas station bathroom.

Mountain Escape from Slate is different. It's a clean, natural scent — think fresh pine, cool air, open elevation. Not perfumey, not artificial. Just the kind of smell that fits the vibe of where you're actually going.

The Slate Diffuser:
  • Clips into any vent
  • Lasts 30–60 days
  • No drip, no mess, no hanging cardboard
  • Looks clean on the dash

I guess where you run the trail smells different... we have stank mud here. I believe it is the Dolomitic clay, but I am no geologist ... As for the dusty trails, I don't need an air freshener to smell like that, it is still in there.

Add in yesterday's taco bell and a Walmart bag of used TP.

Some other good ideas for recharges, besides "muddy trail" to, you know, keep it smelling like you used it

How about "wet dog"?
"We had Burritos for dinner last night"
"Differential Oil"
"17 old stacked air fresheners from the car wash that are a random assortment of Black Gold, New Car, and Pine"
"I swear that's not alcohol, Officer, it's just the car freshener"

Those are great ideas! Haha, but I'm not sure people would buy them. We can be wrong

Question: last summer I spilled some catfish bait in the back of my Bronco and it really stinks now. Will this thing fix my problem ?
Yes — our SUMA Slate Diffuser uses aroma oils designed to neutralize odors, not just mask them.

That said, for stronger or lingering smells, the best approach is to first use an ozone treatment inside your car to fully eliminate the source of the odor. After that, you can use the Slate Diffuser to keep your car smelling fresh and clean.

You should be able to rent an ozone eliminator from a local store or buy it from Home Depot or Amazon. Hope this helps!
