I'm about to swap to the braptor steering wheel in my wildtrak. Did anyone ever provide details on the forescan adjustments to make the braptor steering wheel completely functional?

You don’t need to make any forescan adjustments. I have a 2022 Wildtrak and installed the BRaptor paddle shift steering wheel in it. What you need to do is switch the BRaptor keypad circuit boards out and install the ones from your Wildtrak steering wheel. All your current Wildtrak steering wheel features will work like before. Obviously the additional BRaptor features mounted below the keypads won’t since the equipment they operate doesn’t exist in the Wildtrak. I’ve posted photos and explanations of how I accomplished swap on page 6 of this thread. Hope this helps

Did you swap a Raptor dash panel in as well? Did you try driving it and trying an up shift and downshift using the paddles? The wiring for the paddles is already installed, so it should work, wonder what the issue could be?

I installed cluster a year ago. It went back to working. I haven't driven it I was just expecting to be able to shift to 2nd gear in M as I did when tuning it on 0 to 60 runs. Im going to research using forscan since I already have it and if that's too much, I'll just switch the chips again and try that. My wheel is also rubbing against the plastic behind it when I turn it. Did I bolt it on wrong?

The wiring for the paddles is already installed, so it should work, wonder what the issue could be?

Not on all broncos though. None of the 21’s have the necessary wiring in place for the paddles.

I assumed all 22’s would because that’s when braptors came out, but it’s possible @seananigans Bronco was built earlier enough in 22 to also not have it.

I don’t know the cut off. Or even if there actually is one. I just know none of the 21MY’s have the necessary wiring. So an early 22 may not also.

The easiest way to see if you have the wires is to look at the clockspring connector. It needs to have the highlighted circuits in it.

okay I'll take a look. I'm going to just reswap the wildtrak chips and then take a look at the clockspring. without retaking the wheel off completely.

Don’t think you could do that even if you tried. Are you sure the column shrouds are back on correctly?

I tried to redo it but I'll unscrew the bottom and undo the top when I look at the wiring.

You’re better off contacting the company from the OP, BoostedGreyGooseDesigns, to see if they’ll make you the individual aftermarket harness they have for others.

The correct Ford harness would be the entire dash harness.
