@Ducati1098 - One last Q. Do you have any diagrams of what wires to tap into if I were to do it myself or hire someone to create a custom harness? The guy who sells it seems pretty unresponsive so planning for a plan B just in case./ Thanks for all your help as always

Need to splice the wires in from the connector near the shifter. It’s in the original post, picture #8

No response yet from the OG post yet. I’ll give it a few days before I ask my shop to make it and then actively offer it here

Thanks everyone for the info on this thread. I just finished swapping my 2023 Badlands SAS High package wheel for a BRaptor wheel. I swapped the boards from the Badlands into the BRaptor wheel. The paddles worked, no additional wiring needed!

Just need to find a trim piece to cover the Raptor logo. . .

For those looking for a wheel, I chatted with Fairway Ford about their sold out BRaptor wheel. The said they come in and out of stock, so you might be able to put your name on their list. I think their last ebay listing was around $650.
How much different is the feel of the wheel when driving vs the old one?

It’s a little thicker but it feels really nice. I had a Bronco Raptor for a couple years and preferred it over my Badlands steering wheel for sure.

Thicker, also slightly smaller radius, maybe an inch. Feels more substantial than the stock wheel, I like it! Also, now I downshift so it holds a gear when I want to pass or merge, instant power rather than 2 seconds of shifting before the power hits. I didn't bother before because I had to fumble around finding a tiny button on the shifter. Haven't used it off-road yet. . .

the steering wheel itself feels so much better than my wildtrak one.
I can't find the connector in the catalog to make my own harness. Anyone have any ideas? The original post's referenced company is MIA.

Hey @Ducati1098 - do you have a diagram of the wires by the center console shifter? I have all the wires spliced and workjing with the exception of tapping into the manual up, down and ctrl module. The wires in your diagram don't seem to match what I'm seeing when taking the plastic cover off.

I don’t know the cut off. Or even if there actually is one. I just know none of the 21MY’s have the necessary wiring. So an early 22 may not also.

The easiest way to see if you have the wires is to look at the clockspring connector. It needs to have the highlighted circuits in it.
