Has anyone experienced this yet? My 2025 Bronco, I can roll up and down the window, but the full pull or push on the button wont do the automatic open/close. Also when the window is rolled up all the way, it gets to the top and then automatically re-opens.

Its only on the drivers side window.

The motor seems to operate fine.

Its not stuck at any point, or hard to actuate. Nothing is stuck in the guide or frame.

All doors are shut appropriately when operating the window.

Whatever the problem is, it affects using the auto close/open function and the full closed position. I was thinking just a bad switch, but being that it auto opens at the top, its got to be more than that. And just something blocking it at the top and doing a safety reopen, wouldnt affect the switch operation. Soooo, what then.

Its under warranty, so Im taking it in today. Ill see what they say, as its not a temperamental problem, but consistent, they will have to do something about it and cant say, "it didnt see a problem when I tested it".

Frustrated with it all winter, MANY MANY resets, finally it's been good for a couple months. You do know the reset procedure?

reset procedure: roll it up all they way, continue holding the button up for 5 seconds or so. Roll down all the way, continue holding button down 5 seconds or so. Repeat a few times

Helps to keep windows and tracks clean

^^ Yep, that's the procedure, though it CAN be done in reverse (down first, then up).

I use my windows often during the spring and fall, not so much in the winter/summer. So usually in the early spring and early fall I have to go through this with every vehicle we own.

I've had this off and on since new. They have replaced the driver's door module, and reprogramed multiple times. It was fine for a few months, but is back. They are coming to my office to fix, soon.

The problem is you can't do the window reset when this is happening because the window bounces back down as you're holding the switch up.

In the past I had to just leave my window up (manually inching it towards the top without it bouncing down) and then I'd leave it alone for a day or two until it fixes itself, and then you can do a reset if it's still needed.

My driver's side window is cranky. It rolls up just fine but is real fussy about rolling down. I have done the reset many times but it still has a mind of it's own. I'm thinking bad switch.

I have had to reset a few times over the years. Usually is ok for a long period of time. I have a 25 F150 that started doing the exact same thing over the winter. Two days ago I found out that Ford did a OTA on the module. Time will tell if it worked. But, got me thinking maybe same issue with the Bronco and Ford just hasnt figured out the OTA fix.

I have a 26 Heritage and I experienced this the other day.
I came out of a store and my window rolled down when I unlocked the vehicle.
it kept rolling down whenever I put it up all the way.
I opened the door and used the automatic up button and it stayed up.
then I closed it and it was fine.
I am glad to see other people are dealing with that as well.
I will keep an eye on it.

If you can't do the relearn procedure because it keeps rolling down, do it with the door open.

"Uh, no, we've never heard of that problem..."..........................
"Oh, that's not under warranty."
"There's no known fix for it, keep trying the reset."
"And pray you don't drive into a pond and need the window down when it keeps going back up...."

A service tech was out, today, and couldn't fix it. The module has been replaced, previously. He could not even reset it, since the computer wouldn't let him. Its' going in next week for an actual adjustment of the window, itself to see if that fixes it.

I'm so old that I remember when we rolled a window up, it stayed up! Regardless of whatever appendages were in the way!
