Anyone had their rear Soft Top Latch snap off through regular use?

The rear driver's side latch on my soft top has broken off. It didn't catch on anything, it just snapped right off. I'm so confused.

Assuming this is a part I can replace at home since our local dealership is not great to deal with.


I have 2022 Outerbanks soft top. It's particularly frustrating as compared to a lot of y'all we barely use the Bronco to its capabilities. It's a garage kept city girl that gets driven 1-2 times a week. I love it so much but we've never even taken the top off, and have only removed the windows once.

Mine also broke in my 23 Black Diamond. I have the IAG EZ lift soft top assist so I am opening the back probably once a week. My driver side broke, but is still attached to the vehicle.

If I recall, those parts aren't available on their own. You have to buy a bigger part of the top to get them. As an altrnative, @IAG Off-Road has an EZ LIft and Pull combo that will replace those parts and give you more usability as a benefit.

It contains more parts and engineering than the struts. Besides, it's only $10 more. The V1 EZ Pull was $250. Saving you $95=Homie Deal

A year or so ago when we were developing the V1, these weren't available. Glad to see Ford has finally caught up to their production on replacement parts.
