My drivers side rock rail squeaks when I step on it to enter exit. Anyone had this? Tighten? Torque spec or just tight?
Lube? Anything else?

Probably just a tighten. You probably have body mounted steps, OEM I assume (not a rock rail), but more detail and pic would clarify

Mine also does it now in the cooler weather, but I chalk it up to off roading dirt and grit. Mine does it on both sides, and I just assume it is grit in the springs. If you also off road yours, try washing the springs off and soaking them with some penetrating oil.

Springs in a sidestep?
No, the vehicle springs (coilovers, struts, etc.), I am 200 pounds so when I step on them it causes the vehicle to rock slightly. So that’s where I am guessing the sound is coming from.

Snug the bolts up and see if it corrects the squeak.

Every time I've had squeaks (springs, suspension and passenger window), it was dust. Take it to a manual car wash or try washing it with a hose and tighten down the nuts. Might try loosening slightly before washing out, then tighten after.

I went to town on all of the bolts on the side steps with some penetrating oil and it has kept the squeaks away. 2 off-roading trips since then as well and it has remained quiet.

There is a 13mm inside the front fender. I loosened that just a touch and silicone lubed it and the squeak went away. The squeak came back when I really cranked it down.
