We live south of Palatka in the small town of Fruitland just south of Welaka all along St. Johns river. Lake George & Crescent lake are also just south of Palatka just for some info. You'll love it here. To bad you missed the rally was alot of fun. Next one is in Oct on Gulf side.

Heck I drove from Clearwater, into Daytona and took the beautiful ocean drive north on A1A into Butler Beach. Amazingly I didn’t see another Bronco on the 4 hour drive until I got into town. Stayed downtown in St. Augustine. I think the 203 Broncos took up about 1/3 mile of beach- not sure where everyone is gonna park next year when volume doubles. But there were some downsides of course- way too many girls in bikinis, too much food, and not enough sunscreen. See you all next year. Agree with comments above, watch FL bronco 6g on FB. Kudos to Mervin T and his team for organizing it.

There were alot of 904 Bronco club, Ormond Beach &Old City as well. Not certain I got names totally correct...lol. Yes Mervin & team has really brought it together & it's continuing to grow. Congratulations to them! It was to bad the Sheriff wouldn't let us park on both sides. Volusia County lets Handicap plated vehicles park on water side & that would have really helped.

There is no "registration". The absolute minimum expense is the beach access pass that is paid to the county at the beach toll attendant booths. If you want to take a chance at winning donated items from the sponsors, then raffle tickets can be purchased in advance. Otherwise, it is just a beach gathering/hangout.

This year, they won't be selling the tickets on the beach, AFAIK. 'Twas the Night Before event at Bozard's, they will be selling tickets. If you are on Facebook, then follow FL6G group or 904JaxBroncos, or OldCityBroncos, or Beachin Broncos of Ormond and Daytona Beach. The latter groups share FL6G's posts, so it is recommended to follow the original group. Mervin, the group's founder and brainchild of the Christmas in July, does offer raffle ticket promotions unannounced so keep your eyes on his posts.

Pro tip: if u decline the morning gatherings to ride onto the beach as a group and just head to the beach by yourself super early, you’ll avoid the loooong line of Broncos trying to pay beach toll and get onto beach. I waited about 45-60 minutes last year.

Look up South-Wave Offroad. Its a local brand agnostic group we are involved in. We live in Palm coast in the E section!

For some, they really enjoy the beach drive and caravans.

For me, it's no big deal. I just head to the Mary St. access ramp. And I am usually one of the first in the lineup.
