Paint Matched White Hardtop Used Price?

I’m new here. I have a couple of quick questions.

First, what in the world does MIC stand for?

second, what is my OEM take off paint matched hardtop worth these days? It has the soft sound buffer material on the inside? I bought the truck 2 days ago brand new, so it’s as new as it gets. Currently the truck has 28 miles on it.

Welcome, MIC stands for Molded In Color, it is what the matte grayish black tops are. Your white top will be worth what someone is willing to pay for it, I would see if facebook marketplace has any for sale, compare prices, and go from there.

I think you could easily ask 5k for it. But, it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay. I’ve had my white painted top for 2.5 years and have had no issues with it. Many with the MiC top have had cracking and delamination. Some have had it replaced several times. The painted top is not just a MiC top painted. It is a different outer material.

I think you could get minimally $5K (at least that’s what the NYC Metro area would pay) but, maybe us northerners need a hard top more than you southerners need one because the soft top has much more seasonality.

I'd pay $5k for a painted black top for a 2 door. You could probably get between $5-7k is my guess.
