It will be on my build page. They just gave me a date for building them. Should be shipped early September.
Who did you order through? I went through Wild Horse and had both in less then a week but that was like 6 months ago :)

Wildhorse, might be my gear selection. I am doing 4.88, not much change from 4.7; I do not like 5.38 tooth contact.

As far as intercoolers. If your going to upgrade your beast, this will be one of many so choose one of the great 3rd party manufacturers.

but I will say, getting bigger charge pipes, intercooler, and intake box at the same time will save you a lot of disassembly/assembly work.
Who would you consider the big 3

If you are doing a low mount intercooler (where it is mounted OEM), then they are all similar. No one is really any better than the other, just go by price...

Waste of money. Anyone who says different is selling something...

It will only show gains on Dyno or drag strip. Anything else in the real world like: traffic, off road or towing may actually be worse.

I've observed the larger intercooler is slightly slower to heat soak. As in not a game changer time delay. However whatever delay in heatsoak is an equal or greater delay for cooling back down.

Where as the stock plastic charge tubes can never heat soak (as plastic does a poor job retaining or transferring heat). And the stock intercooler cools off much faster and possibly does better in traffic or 4wd slow driving. Not to mention the weight savings of stock!

These mods are for ricer boy cars that don't drive in the real world but enjoy pretending to be "Fast and Furious" cast members.
I'm with this guy. Different application but similar story, spent $$$$ on a do88 big pack intercooler and charge pipes for my Saab 9-5. Would heat soak worse in hot weather than stock for minimal gain in most situations. I ended up building an intercooler misting system which helped intake air temps far more than the intercooler change. I'm fact, id like to replicate on my 2.3 7MT. I used a hobbes switch to trigger the pump at 10 psi and a windshield reservoir off Amazon. Total investment was maybe $100, and dropped IATs by 10 degrees C in hot weather.

In this area, there are some better than others when it comes to intercoolers.
1. Cobb is top tier. The materials are one of the best, and it simply works very well. More expensive, but it gets the job done.
2. CP-E is also top tier. It has good materials and also uses a system to help direct the airflow. I use this with my setup. Received a great discount on one of their sales.
3. Wagner Performance is another good IC. Good materials, good cooling.

I would say you could not go wrong with these three. All fit in the stock location, easy to install.

Several noteable and legitimate points from different posters I love the garrets, tune and bigger IC coupled with Iced water misting upon wot and 10 secs after or a liquid IC. I just about bought steeda one this AM and decided that with generally cool Canadian weather 9 mths and typical 0-30 inner city driving i need fast cool down more than anything so stock is good enough got the hellwig though

To be top tier, there has to be notable failures in the lower tier to claim te top tier uses superior materials in a way that te material has value.

Unless there are failures to note, unless there are percentages that are measurable in percentages that matter... then they are all the same enough to say they're the same.

I don't think I can use the gains at rock crawl speeds.

Please post the mechanical failures of the lessers.
Please post the worthy percentages increases of the betters.

Then we'll decide.

Yep, That's why I said buy the cheapest (in this case usually CVF). They are all pretty much the same.
