Considering we never saw any actual photos (only renders), I'm starting to worry the 2-door version is vaporware.
Seems there is a huge interest here for it.
My VISA is rockin and ready to purchase.

Seeing the 4-dr thread and the issues that have been raised, I just hope that Broaddict is being diligent in addressing those issues for the revision on the 2-dr version.

I noticed the 4 door version is out of stock on Amazon, unknown when available.
I hope they are still working on getting the 2 door version out.
Any updates from the manufacturer.......purchasing minds want to know? :)

It makes me nervous that their official account has been actively posting elsewhere on the forum, but has not provided an update here in over a month.

They are ghosting us for sure. Makes me think that the 2-dr version is getting scrapped after seeing the issues with the 4-dr version.

Since around March, they've had two people leave the role responsible for managing the forums and much of their marketing, and they're now on their third person in that position. I can tell the transition process hasn't been very smooth because I've been working with Broaddict on several personal projects (new product, sponsorships for charity events, etc) and much of the context and details I discussed with the first person seem to have been lost by the time the third person took over.

Because of that, I don't necessarily think we've been ghosted. My guess is the person currently in the role had no idea the conversations about the two-door Trail Deck were still ongoing on the forums. The communication breakdown during the transition is probably why no one has followed up or provided an update. They may not even realize the discussion was left unresolved.

@BROADDICT Do you have any updates on the 2-door Trail Deck?

There are quite a few eager Bronco owners here who have been patiently waiting and would love to know where things stand. We're all looking forward to getting our hands on one as soon as they're available.

First, we owe everyone in this thread an apology for the long gap between updates. We understand why the silence has caused concern—especially when you’ve continued to show genuine interest in the 2-door TrailDeck.

There has been a change in the team member responsible for our forum communication. The transition was made so we can provide the community with more consistent and professional support. At the same time, Broaddict understands and respects every employee’s individual career decisions.

Regarding the product itself, it has not been released yet because we want to provide a better and more reliable ownership experience. The 2-door version requires thorough fitment, structural, installation, and real-world use testing before we can confidently bring it to market. We would rather take more time to complete those tests properly than rush the product out and leave owners to discover the problems afterward.

We genuinely value every owner’s experience, feedback, and continued support. We are actively communicating with the project and development teams, and we will work to share confirmed development progress here in a more timely manner.

We know that silence is not an update, and we appreciate everyone who has continued following the project and asking us to do better. Thank you for your patience and for holding us accountable.

@BA OffRoad Any updates for the 2-dr Trail Deck?
Thanks for checking in, and we apologize for the gap between updates.

Based on our latest communication with the project team, the 2-door TrailDeck is currently expected to launch between October and November. This is still an estimated timeline rather than a guaranteed release date, as the remaining fitment and product testing must be completed before launch.

We understand that many 2-door owners have been waiting patiently, and we genuinely appreciate the continued interest. We’ll keep communicating with the project team and share confirmed progress here as soon as it becomes available.

We also want to clarify that the 4-door version has experienced an arrival delay due to logistics and is currently listed as a preorder on our website. Once the inventory arrives, we will begin shipping those orders immediately.

We understand that both 2-door and 4-door owners have been waiting patiently, and we genuinely appreciate the continued interest and support. We’ll stay in close communication with the project and logistics teams and share confirmed updates here as soon as they become available.

If technically possible, please add a T-shaped rail in the middle of trail deck, allowing for the mounting of drawers, boxes, or a cooler/fridge side by side in two rows. Upgrade the handle on the 4-door Traildeck to match the one on the 2-door Bronco Traildeck.

We know the 2-door owners have been waiting patiently (or not-so-patiently!) for this one. At Broaddict, we’ve been hard at work translating our signature TrailDeck DNA into a setup that fits the unique dimensions of the 2-door Bronco.

Today, we’re excited to finally pull back the curtain on our 2-Door Slide-Out Tailgate Drawer design concept!

What’s New?
While this drawer shares the same rugged style as our 4-door version, we’ve made some key refinements:
  • Optimized Footprint: We’ve scaled the size to fit the 2-door cargo area, but kept the full drawer depth and thickness of the 4-door version.
  • Flush-Mount Handle: The handle is now recessed and flush with the drawer edge, creating a much smoother look.
  • Signature Details: We’ve kept the features you love—the anti-slip top pattern and high-strength aluminum side rails.
15.webp

The "Big Question": We Need Your Input!
Here is where we need the 2-door experts to weigh in. Engineering is all about balance, and we’ve reached a crossroads regarding height:
  • The Goal: We want this drawer to be compatible with our future fold-down tailgate table add-on.
20.webp

  • The Trade-off: To ensure that compatibility, the drawer height needs to match our 4-door TrailDeck. However, because the 2-door's rear seat brackets sit higher than the 4-door's, this creates a 0.71" drop between the folded seats and the drawer surface.
18.webp

So, 2-door owners—what’s more important to you?

1. Future-Proofing:
Keep the height as-is to ensure it works with the upcoming tailgate table and other accessories?

2. Perfectly Flat Floor: Lower the unit to be 100% flush with the seats, even if it means sacrificing compatibility with certain add-ons?

Specs Recap:
  • Weight Capacity: Recommended max load of 265 lbs.
  • Tailgate Clearance: When closed, there is a gap of 1.20" between the unit and the tailgate.
16.webp

We want to build the gear that you actually want to use. Drop a comment below and let us know your thoughts on the height, the handle, or anything else!

Thanks for the information. It will make a nice Christmas present for our Bronco!
