It's either one of two things. (1) Your CAI filter has way too much oil and I bet your MAF is covered in it. Pull it all apart and wipe it all down. (2) You need to tune the truck for the new CAI, assuming its pulling that much more air more than stock.
Your parts are probably okay, as these part numbers do change time to time. Maybe have parts dept double check against a unit on the lot. As far as programming, I wouldn't want to give guidance that creates future servicing issues at your dealer or with Ford. My recommendation would be to get it...
My brother just bought a Wildtrak and has the squish sound. The squeak however was not normal and they are replacing the brake booster. Availability of parts to repair are currently TBD.
Update: Tech tried to lube up the pedal and no help. New brake booster is now ordered up. Ford shows it on backorder with no release date.
You'd think the case opened by Ford would help expedite the parts, but no such luck.
I installed last week replacing a K&N. Agreed the butt dyno feels the truck is more responsive. Can't say I've noticed an improvement in mpg over the k&n.
Probably the most underwhelming of the day - added remote window roll up, removed auto start/stop, removed double honk, and added the option to select ambient light color with ForScan.
Now just need to finish the supporting mod for it to work.
