Due to manufacturers using slightly different specs for their own sub, we design the box specifically for that sub. We can design it around almost any shallow-depth 10" subwoofer. We are a Kicker retailer, so Kicker CompRT 10" will be a given. We also do a lot of boxes for the JL 10TW3 sub, which this first box is going to be. So that is always on the list too, shown below.

We will produce the box to mount the Power-9 F25 directly to the box, just like the B&O would have been. These boxes will be purchased directly through our shop. We are not a Zen retailer.

I was looking at the Rockford Fosgate slim T1S2-10 sub woofer.
It's a little thinner as well.

Would this present any problem with the Enclosure?

They also provide the STEP CAD file of the Speaker to help with sizing in design.
At the bottom of the Web Page / Specification Menu is the STEP File: 10MB file.

So close to me. Where and how can i visit to listen to the shop Bronco? Upgrading the B&O system has been on the wishlist but spending that kind of cash without listening to it first gives me buyers anxiety.

That should work fine! I will put the STEP into my CAD on Monday, and see how it looks.

Question, is this enclosure sealed or ported?
I haven’t paid attention to either OEM or AdditiveCarAudio until I was coming across subs that have a sealed & ported model.

All of our enclosures are a sealed design. The OEM is ported.

Also, the Rockford T1S2-10 fits great in our enclosure.

Great to hear… I was hoping it was sealed. The minimal I know about audio and subs, I read more that sealed provides a better Sub enclosure and has audio benefits too.

My naivety shows again, so a Sub made for Sealed Enclosure, does it have it’s own porting and a sub made for Ported Enclosure doesn’t?
** Edit ** reading a bit more, sounds like the difference in same speaker with ported or sealed models is primarily the spiders tension. The Ported Speaker has a higher tension spider(s); due to ported enclosure allowing speaker to move move freely. The sealed speaker has lower tension spider(s) due to the sealed enclosure assists in the cushioning or spring of the speaker’s movement. * end edit*

Nice to hear the Rockford T1S2 fits!

Are you getting close to being able to provide the enclosure for the power-9?

Install complete. The box from additive fit well. William is waiting on Fraser to send some revised schematics as the original CAD mounting holes don't match up with the Zen amp. My installer crafted a bracket so all is well. The sub sounds great and I didn't have to sacrifice tailgate space for the very capable 10TW3 sub. The Audison speakers are very very bright but the audio clarity and high end detail is fantastic and have been able to tune them down to a balanced level.

Just in case anyone wanted to see....

Once we get the mounting hole layout nailed down, these will be available on our site:
https://additivecaraudio.com/

Our sub boxes work with most shallow-depth subs.

All good news to me! Great to hear both on Speakers and Enclosure!
I’m just waiting for the final product to signal available!

Received the Enclosure... great pice of work, quality is apparent in the design and placement threaded inserts. Looking forward to this multi-tangent project: Sound Deadening, Seat Belt Color change, and Audio Upgrades!

I haven't gotten any further than taking out of box... waiting for Zen Power25 and harness to be released. On the Ft End of Enclosure is a round opening... these are sealed units but was wondering what the small hole / opening was in the front?

You instructions state not to install any deadening material inside the Enclosure. I can follow that recommendation, but isn't it normal to install a little foam in back or cotton fluff in the box?

The round hole in the end is for the speaker terminal cup. Packed with the hardware.

No need for sound deadening inside or outside the box. But polyfill, white fluff, is necessary to fill the box.

That additive audio 3d printed enclosure has literally been the best investment, other than a bad ass DSP, I have made for my Bronco so far. I can remove my two downfiring 12” L7’s and still get solid base and my entire cargo space. Plus, I can have a tailgate table and a broaddict traildeck. I just don’t understand the tailgate sub idea when the 3d printed enclosure option is available. There are other places to put your amps. Mine are mounted in the underside of the back seats and I can still collapse them.
