Hello, Tuesday! I finally took the top off. Did a 6-door convoy on the Naches trail with Ryan and @ezapar 2 then gazed upon a mountain. FYI, 52 degrees at 75 mph is a little chilly... plan accordingly 😁

If you're in love with the coating on your wheels then I'd probably skip it but the first day in Moab cured me of that concern. It's not too bad when it's dry but I can see it being a little dicey for body panels if it was really wet, especially for the Mordor Broncos.

I thought I answered your question... Not sure what you are asking now.

Did you have to be pulled back?
No... I did have to spend about 3 hours digging with an ax though.... The silt and clay outside of the hole was so hard I actually bent up my shovel. It was like a rock. No one was with me except my wife and we were 5 hours drive past the sign in gate, which no one had signed into in a couple of days. 12 hours of driving and did not see a single person even at a very long distance. There was also absolutely nothing to attach a winch to.... Did get to meet a 40 inch rattle snake up close and personal, about 10 inches from my face while on my hands and knees digging though. I also carried over about 500 lbs of small rock from the creek 100 yards away to help build a ramp to back out on.
