American Flag: Lets see them!

If you’re driving the streets with a large American flag waving for all to see show them off!

Attachment points and durability of the flag on the freeway would be welcome too.

Currently I’m driving a 2 dr Badlands everything off.

Funny you should ask. I just received my 3x5 flag today. I plan to weld up the reciever hitch mount for it later this week!!

Im having some problems with airflow behind the buggy. I will try again with the top off. I think the air flowing ftru the cab area should get her to fly. With the top on, the low pressure area directly behind the spare tire, wants to push the flag against the wheel.

That's a Hammer Built tailgate reinforcement with the antenna/whip accessory mount. The pole is from Gorilla Whips. It's a 1/2" x 4' fiberglass pole with a spring mount. The flay pictured is a 2'x3'.

I've flown anything from a pocket flag to a 3'x5' and they fly nicely. The smaller flags hold up better at higher speed. You'll want one that's rated for higher wind speeds if you're going to fly it on the highway... I've gone through a couple that didn't hold up. As for the mount itself, the weak points on these are the swivel rings, where the flag attaches to the pole, because they are made out of aluminum. The friction from the steel carabiners wears them out over time. I have new ones coming in the mail soon.
