One possible explanation- they have to be mounted in the same orientation as they were from the factory. When I put my new bumper on I would occasionally get a false reading from one sensor. After a few months it ramped up for some reason and I looked into it- sure enough I mounted it upside down. After flipping it I have not had any false alarms.

I'll try that, but I did mount them in the same orientation and they only fit in one orientation regardless... I do have that issue where even after disabling the front sensors, they re-enable after turning the vehicle off and back on again regardless of what the switch in the settings menu says, until I re-enable and disable that settings switch. So I really think it's related to the TSB. If I find that changing their orientation solves the problem though I'll make another post here!
