wouldnt the insert restrict airflow? defeating the purpose of the better flowing cats? im still on the stock exhaust so theres room in the mid pipe section to install a resonator.
So, I had the downpipes installed and felt the power difference in low end. The only issue is the rattle/ raspy exhaust note. Searched everywhere on the web to get this resolved. Couldn’t find anything so took the matter into my own hands. Put rubber washers on the backside of the exhaust heat...
i have the same problem. It goes away when it rains. Figured out it was the rubber seals rather than the pins. I put a light amount of grease on the rubber seals and pins and the sound went away but, it's back to the noise again. I going to re grease all the seals but a much heavier dose to see...
bought these off insta not knowing this group buy existed. freakin love these mirrors!
please make these for the volvo xc90 so i can get them for my wife too!
Check all your hose clamps. shake and try to pull them off and see if they move. If they move its not tight enough itll throw a code. check sensors and clean them. Also, heard some folks with the 2.3 broke a y shaped vaccum line which caused a leak.
Unless you're full sending through >3ft of water, the puddles will be perfectly fine. The hood obstructs it from reaching the inlet.
That stock bypass won't do much when you're throttling. It only has a 1 inch gap for the water to fall when there's suction from throttling.
Just an input. I also have whistle noise coming from my side mirror area and realized it wasnt the mirrors causing the noise but its the window seal near the mirrors not sealing all the way and causing the noise. I pushed the rubber seal against the window and the noise stopped.
the bolt slots are measured for that exact position with a little wiggle room to adjust how you like it. The plate mount is also adjustable with a up-down range of about 4" and side to side range of about 7". If your savy with drilling new mounting bolt holes on the bracket you can mount it...
Just went out and did the reset. Worked like a charm. (y)
So glad this worked. Was dreading to take it back to the dealer when I just got it.
