  1. Hammer built winch mount and Mishimoto high intercooler not fitting

Vibration will cause things that touch to wear a hole. You need clearance. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/new-hammer-built-high-clearance-hidden-winch.110366/page-10
  2. Hammer built winch mount and Mishimoto high intercooler not fitting

I would have to cut the winch mount to fit between the hard pipes. The spacers would be required because the pipes hang below the frame. Any two items that are made of a hard material that vibrate will wear on each other and eventually create a hole in the thinner material (intercooler pipes)...
  3. Hammer built winch mount and Mishimoto high intercooler not fitting

Can I get some help please? Can anyone with a Mishimoto high intercooler take some measurements for me? First I want to say Shawn with Hammer Built is amazing to work with. I've been struggling witht his for several days and he was went far beyond what any normal salesman should to help me...
  4. I need some help with camera and radar detector power please

My first goal is the Escort Max 3 radar detector. I was hoping to power it from the mirror, but it seems like that was removed in 2025. My Badlands with Lux package doesn't have a power mirror. I thought about powering it from the dash USB, but it's 5v and I need 12v. Also from what I have read...
  5. Overhead lights

From what I can tell that button has two options: on of off.
  6. Overhead lights

Please forgive me, but I have been unsuccessful in searching, but recently I no longer have any interior overhead (dome) lights on my 2025 badlands. I still have ambient light and mirror lights. I can manually turn on the light near the mirror, but I can't get it turn turn on automatically.
  7. Mishimoto charge pipes and S&B intake

I have a 2.7 with Mishimoto intercooler and charge pipes and attempted to install a S&B intake. The SB intake is not compatible. The cool pipe from the intercooler is too big for the S&B intake pipe to mount to. At first I thought it was just the hoses need to flex for it to line up, but when I...
  8. Hammer built winch mount

I have thr plastic on wrong and the washers are not needed. Some of the extra parts was the ACC mount. I will work on that today. For anyone else that wants to do this just skip the directions and watch the video and pause it step by step.
  9. Hammer built winch mount

There is plenty of room for the bolts so the washers are not needed. The plastic part needs to be turned around. The instructions skipped the ACC so I will have to redo that. This video is better than the directions.
  10. Hammer built winch mount

Lol, last two steps and I am missing pieces. I'm not sure on the plastic if there is a mistake in the directions, but I am definitely missing two washers.
  11. Hammer built winch mount

There is a pretty big hole left for the winch to mount.
  12. Hammer built winch mount

The instructions skipped the lower headlight mount, but when I looked at extra parts it was easy to figure out.
  13. Hammer built winch mount

At this point with being sick I'm just going to put it back together for Monday. I'll do the actual winch mount at a later date. One note, the charge pipe kit does not include pipes from the air filter to the turbos. That one I had to zip tie channel locks on didn't even need to come off...
  14. Hammer built winch mount

I did a quick test fit and it looks like it will interfere slightly. I'll cut it or use spacers if needed.
  15. Hammer built winch mount

This only matters if you are installing the charge pipes also. I had to get creative. The instructions said to loosen the 7mm hose clamp. BTW if Mishimoto ever reads this please label your bags with letters just as use bolts in Bag A for the next step.
  16. Hammer built winch mount

The directions say not to put the two bolts for the original upper intercooler mount in until after you mount the new intercooler. That makes it much more difficult. I would recommend to install them before mounting the intercooler. Also the 6 holes you drill are not super critical on the...
  17. Hammer built winch mount

Drilling these holes is pretty annoying. They want me to be accurate to 24.8mm and my eyes and tape measure aren't that good. I was able to remove the foam strip without a heatgun.
  18. Hammer built winch mount

The difference in the intercoolers is pretty significant. I will say the Ford is thicker though.
  19. Hammer built winch mount

So far so good. It was difficult to get the plastic caps off the bumper. There was nowhere to get my fingers in. I used a big flat head screwdriver just under the edge and yanked and it popped off.
  20. Hammer built winch mount

Yes. I'm sick with a sinus infection so taking many breaks. So far I removed the radiator cover which required me to remove the air cleaner cover. I removed the grill which sounded like it was breaking, but was fine. Same thing with the fender flares.
