Who makes or sells that three-screw accessory mount? Looks great. If I understand you right, the center screws into the Bronco's dash accessory 1/4" bolt hole, and you recommend reinforcing it the ends with double-face foam tape. Or should I used a longer threaded post (an inch + a fraction) to...
Well, thank you very much! I will now be able to raise my hood proudly in the most prestigious of Ford dealers and other select repair shops!
I could certainly use a bit of good luck. With my type of luck, I'd win Powerball--five minutes before the Rapture.
(You Bible-savvy members will get...
And the ads will, of course, show it driving 85 MPH Bajah over a very flat and carefully checked out playa (which you and I are probably not allowed to venture onto), and coming to a stop with a perfect skid.
Hey GM! how about an ad showing it rock crawling--with those wife-friendly steps...
Hopefully, they'll stay in the malls and quiet subdivisions. We don't need more neophytes out on the trails and unmaintained backcountry roads. Every car ad I see has the vehicle (maybe even the Prius nowadays?) driving Baja through unpaved countryside, splashing through mud, doing wheelies in...
Love it!
I confess to living in clutter. (But this year I seriously intend to address that--don't want my children to have to sift through everything.)
The problem with clutter is that you can't find tools. So I have extra hammers, saws, pilers, as I couldn't find them, so I went out and...
I put them on all five wheels. I also ordered two keys. One I keep at home with my tools, and the other I keep with my jack and tools in a Ziplock bag. You'll want to remember to provide the key to anybody who's working on your truck, especially tire work--and to retrieve it!--so it's not...
@JFLSUFAN, please use the search tool. Lots of posts and threads on this. Mudflaps and tires, too.
That said, I put up more money for the Advance Wheel Locks. Sure, they can be defeated, but it will take a thief with above average skills and tools, plus a good bit of time.
Like the FJ Cruiser, the Bronco is faulted for visibility problems. My gripe is the right rear pillar and that corner of the "clamshell" hard top. Three thoughts:
1) As stated above, experiment with your seat position. Remember that the steering wheel can adjust, and sliding your seat, adjusting...
All it takes is a taxpayer-funded $4B stadium, and you're in the big leagues!
To all you California enthusiasts, beautiful state and all that (I hitchhiked US 101 before I-5 was built, also US 395) before I , what about the price of gas? $4.58, and pushing towards $5.00
Not having been there, but I've seen photo reports of interesting stretches in northern Michigan, the Upper Peninsula, especially. Also northern Minnesota, the Iron Range especially, but the mineral content in the mud there calls for vigorous washing, especially on the undercarriage.
Very impressed with the white trim. The white lateral pinstripe is elegant, but I beat up my wheels and beauty rings too much on trails to go for the wheels you've got. What really impresses me is the grill. Mine has some damage. Is the white trim part of your trim package? When I get around to...
Also, if the calander day is divisible by a prime number when multiplied by the square root of your social security number.
Seriously, I never had my auto-stop button killed with Fortran, but for some reason it remains off most of the time, which suits me fine. Maybe I should have my battery...
It's worse than you think, my dear Motovita. Twice a week to make sure I stay close to my target 39psi. Actually, I do very little of my shopping there, but their gas is Top Tier, cheaper than non-Top Tier off-brand, and I get 5% reward points. Being retired, I can avoid Costco Fridays...
I thought the valve stem is an integrated part of the larger TPMS apparatus. It's separate? Can I jjust get one at Autozone, or is it better to buy from a Ford parts counter?
Thanks for the info, and for your patience, too.
I have two tires with slow leaks, about 8-10 pounds per week. Annoying, but at least my Costco has free air pumps, no coin-op. The leak showed up on my 2022 OEM 35" Goodyears (4-Dr Badlands/SAS), which gave me otherwise very good service for 53,000 mostly pavement miles (4/32 tread left)...
