That's pretty much my best guess as well. But honestly fixing an axle housing with a cast iron Center section seems like a bit of a liability to me. Total replacement I feels like it makes the most sense.

Gotcha. Can't find any good pics, but looks like it may be the early Belltech kit that I'm thinking of that hangs really low.

Are you planning on using the factory frame mounts with the Hellwig bar? I wondered if they would work. My problem with the Hellwig was how low the links were under the frame. I'm in search of longer links that will work with the factory bar for better articulation.

Nice! I've debating going this route when my stock fairs are too beat up. But I like that when I rub things with the plastic flairs they have some give and don't push into the quarter panels.
