I have a feeling this will work but I’m waiting to find out more, I did reach out to 4dtech and looks like they program them if it is needed (could always send out to them and then install if first trial doesn’t work)
ok, if we only have to program in forscan than that should be easy however my concern is that the apim might be locked to the specific VIN that we give them, I know infotainment sells a kit for F150 and preprograms the module but if it is just for the features that your vehicle has then maybe it...
ok great, so the only one that I'm not sure about is the radio module but I think it is one of the two:
MU5Z-14G371-AS (repair link and the one I think you referenced) or MU5Z-14G371-AG (listed on parts sites as the 12" with nav)
Thanks,
I see the part number for the display and dash but not the cable or module
it is weird that the part numbers ordered don't match the numbers on the parts.
do you have the ordered part number for the cable?
thanks
Mike
Thanks,
so is that the part number for the wire with pink plug or is that a different wire?....seems like an odd part number compared to repair link numbers I found, also what is the bracket in the second picture? Is that the dash or something else?
Ok, I did some more digging, the Module (MU5Z14G371AS does not seem to come up as a part number on other sites)….I did find one MU5Z-14G371-AG (12” with navigation for bronco)….what happens if I add one that has navigation…..will it not work given I don’t have nav or is it the only option (do...
Ok repairlink is awesome….I think I have all the numbers (used a badlands high vin):
M2DZ10D885A - 12” display
MU5Z14G371AS - Module
M2DZ14D202BA - Cable Assembly (this is the one that I think I need)
M2DZ7804338BY - Dash (it confirms that it is for the badlands)
My only other question is...
That is the picture you posted earlier….I didn’t realize that we can sign up for repair link, I will do so…..in the meantime I found out that the cable is wrong (found a pic of one online and it is an antenna cable)….I think I need the display unit cable (I think that is what they call them)...
do you know which cable it is in the diagram, I'm tempted to order the 4 parts
So far I have the following that I think are correct:
dash: M2DZ-7804338-BY (wild track but I think same as Badlands)
12" Display M2DZ-10D885-A
Processing Unit: MU5Z-14G371-A. (this I think was mentioned here as...
Just remove crash bars and reprogram TPMS and forscan new tire size and you are good to go.
no suspension change at all and no problem with spare tire mount either, backup camera is fine too (you see a tiny bit of the tire at the bottom but it is barely noticeable)
if going with a manual then I would skip the Sasquatch.
I have a manual BD and it already has 4.70 gears and the suspension is almost identical (0.3" shorter in the front and 0.5" shorter in the back). I threw sas wheels/tires on last night and only had to remove the crash bars.....looks...
were you able to cover it so it doesn't show the blue?
also were you able to pop out the blank plastic from just removing the shifter boot?
I wonder if we can add the stock charger from a badlands high manual
