Lmao, some under hood colored plastic makes your rig trail ready? Considering you can only see them with the hood up I'd say no one will see these on the trail unless it is for negative reasons. Also, considering the body of them is aluminum, did anyone consider the reason that most caps don't...
I have a 3/22 build and hope the date range will change. I've had some honeycomb, but just recently I finally started to notice cracks on the passenger side of the clamshell in the lower front corner.
Lol balding KO2s is so real on any 4x4. The first layer of tread is soft and works well in the wet and snow and that wears pretty quick. Once that's gone the remainder of the tread is rock hard so people run it for years and years, regardless of whether the tire should be aged out. Hell, I still...
If this service is so difficult to comprehend for any shop you visit, I'd recommend leaving and getting the rotate elsewhere. If they can't just google the simple procedure or can't understand why rotating the extra tire is worth while, then they aren't qualified to service your rig, full stop.
The 2.3 old or new has more power and torque than the 3.6 and makes it at lower RPM. IDK how much gear you plan to load up your bronco with, but if a gladiator could carry it around then your bronco should be plenty fine power wise.
Lol, I was going to comment about the same as Telenerd. Definitely a southern coastal state influence on that decision. In SD to get anywhere I have to drive hours in any of the cardinal directions on I29 or I90 and there is nothing stopping the wind. The wind is almost always blowing head on or...
I should have worded it better. I meant that the 35s and small lift of the sasquatch come with less articulation over the stock badlands. The stock badlands was very specifically equipped and engineered by the Bronco team, and it has shown me its plenty capable.
My badlands is a manual, so the only difference between mine and a sasquatch is the 35s and about .5" lift for less articulation. In all my trips to the San Juans and my BDR trip across Idaho I have yet to come to an obstacle where <1" more ground clearance from the 35s would have been a...
This is the key. IDK what is up with people in this thread keeping wipers for years or OP crying about his wipers that have likely degraded. I replace mine every year with regular Ford wipers and they are fine. You can't expect them to last year after year when they deal with hard winters, being...
I'm in the same boat, I love my 7mt badlands and it would be hard to give up. However, if mine were wrecked beyond repair I think I'd probably go with a ranger raptor. Rebuilding another badlands to match my current one runs just about $56.5k. The ranger raptor is right around that and offers a...
Something else for OP and others to consider that I unfortunately discovered thanks to the shock recall on the Bilsteins: replacement on the non SAS Bilsteins is 2-3x the cost per corner compared to the SAS Bilsteins for whatever reason, even though they are basically the same shock with...
You won't have to worry. I didn't want the SAS package on my badlands since .5" of lift and wheels and tires is the only difference on mine. I have yet to run into a situation off roading where having that 1 extra inch of tire in any direction would make any difference.
