Found the potential culprits, it was inside the unit. I was able to tighten each of the main posts inside significantly. This was the only "play" in the system. I recorded a video of how much i was able to tighten on the positive cable, but the negative was just about the same. Hopefully...

So, went to the tint shop today and the factory tint on a 4 door was 17% in the back and 82% in the front. I left the back alone, did a 35% on the front to almost bring them to match. I also did a 50% sunset strip and it did the trick for me.
