My E46 has a mind of its own, 2006 ZHP convertible. No rhyme or reason seats keep moving, parking mirror sometimes stays down sometimes comes back up. For a while the window controls were wacky then worked fine. The car has 35k and is spotless, perfectly maintained so no critters eating wires or...
You using the same key all the time? My BMWs... all F-gen chassis except the one E46, the different keys can store different profiles so you could theoretically do mem 1 and mem 2 with one key then using the same "1 / 2" buttons have seat position 3 and seat position 4 with the second key. If...
I've seen Bronco Sport in A51 and an FJ like the one pictured, it's damn close. The FJ reads a TINY bit more blue to me but that is likely due to the white top.
I'm done unless they release new BD options (e.g. in MY22) that would interest me including larger screen and signature lights. Otherwise good - BD, Cactus, Steelies, Mid, 2.7L, Nav, Tow.
I'd actually take the signature lights and 12" screen if they were offered, but not interested in either enough to move from BD. The smaller screen with Nav is fine (GF is realtor and uses constantly).
I haven't moved from BD as my choice once B&P came up, major news though Cactus is now my...
The lack of available tow package and strong desire for MGV definitely pushed me to BD. Mid-Package is also a must have for me, GF will not drive anything if it requires digging keys out of her black hole of a purse. We both have other cars and the Bronco is meant to be a shared bad weather...
I saw another car that was close to Carbon Grey and the contrast between that and the plastic trim on the car wasn't enough... I don't know that I'd like it with the plastic top and fenders. I'm down to Iconic Silver if I want to play it super safe (but maybe boring) and Cactus, which I never in...
I saw Cactus parked right next to A51 on Bronco Sports today... Cactus definitely read grey and not green in direct sunlight. In the shade it had a little more green / yellow to it but it definitely wasn't minty.
I've ordered cars before and handled everything over the phone - in some cases even taken delivery at home. They bring the car on a flatbed, do paperwork at the dining room table, even program the garage door opener. Literally never set foot in the dealership for anything.
This was pre-COVID...
Ha... my issue is I have a lot of cars but none that I like driving in bad weather, park in the city etc. I just need something a little beat up that I won't freak out over. Bronco would be good with heavy duty bumpers, easy to replace body panels etc. and just nature of the vehicle I wouldn't...
I'm not far behind you. At low $40Ks for bad weather / park outside / don't OCD vehicle I am good. Inching closer to $50K there are many other things I'd consider, even silly things like doing a safari build on an old TT...
I just placed my order for silver... not quire the real thing though! Ashamed to admit watching the movie pushed me towards silver when I can actually order something.
I'd like some new options, but I also have no use for the Bronco until this time next year anyway. So win-win if I end up with a MY22. Also might give me a chance to see some colors in person which could sway me away from "safe silver."
Until this COVID mess is cleaned up I don't need to leave...
I am 2D BD with steelies, headliner, mid, 2.7, nav, tow, silver. I'd really like the 12" screen although I don't care about surround view, and the headlight upgrade would be nice to have but not need to have. Would at least like the option. So I'm really just suffering with the smaller screen...
I'm kind of happy about the delay... TBH. I did my reservation in July and don't actually need the Bronco until this time next year. COVID means no regular office hours for the indefinite future, and we have a number of cars already, so if the weather is bad (primary Bronco use) I can just stay...
GF DD is a 3 sedan, she'll stick with that and we'll eventually get her a new one or a 4 GC. I have a Dinan S2 M235 vert that's my current DD, also a Dinan S1 328 sport wagon. That wagon would be a fine "practical car" but it was the last car I bought my late father and also my Cannonball car...
Also a BMW guy here, and also adding to the fleet. Bronco will bring us to 4 cars for 2 drivers in the household and our goals are relatively simple... bad weather, occasional beach, run over some stuff with the nephews in the back. It should be fine for its intended purpose, will just sell it...
