You'd have to get over that whole ugly as sin thing...and the awful breakover angles that make it painful off road....if you can get over those things, then good to go.
It's definitely worth it, but unless you're getting a smoking deal you'd be better served just to find some Sasquatch takeoffs and get the bit more lift that comes with those. They should be far easier to find out there as well...no downside, only upside either way.
My concern with the two piece is that they fly out when the back doors are off. Maybe not…but I’d be worried until I saw they stay in.
Serious? I don’t see that at all…not even in the same ballpark looks wise as the Husky.
Nope, that’s the exact opposite of what you would assume based on the above. Ford can’t “void” the warranty. They are required to honor the warranty unless the specific mod causes the specific problem that the claim is based on. Even their own language designed to provide as little as possible...
Wow, I’ve never had anyone charge extra, and I always do a 5 tire rotation. That’s very strange. I just hand them the diagram below and tell them to rotate all 5 and never once had anyone try to upcharge.
A 5 tire rotation makes way more sense than anything else. If you don’t do it, you either...
You can “see” whatever you want, but it’s not reality, it’s your imagination. You already stated one falsehood (that warranty is officially voided). Don’t double down…Ford tells dealers to err on the side of approving warranty claims, and it’s rare that they are denied when the mod didn’t cause...
Actually “officially” no on voiding warranty. The warranty is not voided for modifications. If Ford shows that it caused the problem, then that specific issue won’t be covered. Otherwise, warranty is intact.
Nothing has changed…it’s always taken them no time to remove them. I’ve seen them do it multiple times. It is very simple…I thought when someone said they were secure that they had some new design. Nope.
Every tire shop in the country also has the universal socket that is pounded over a McGard lock to remove the locks in 10 seconds...how is that any different?
The blue Bronco that Kevin was driving was on stock 35s...and from @LiteBrite themselves:
That doesn't sound like the field needed to be leveled at all...Bronco was comperable, or "better"; both with 35s.
It's a pretty easy fix...don't get out of the truck at night and look at it when someone else is backing out....you're one dislike will go away just like that.
I think you'd be crazy to not buy the Bronco...it's the coolest new vehicle on the planet right now. So some engines are blowing at a higher than normal rate...you're chances are still very small that something happens, and if it does, it does. You could also get bitten by a shark, or hit by...
If you take the truck off road…your MUCH more likely to pay if you don’t have that durability. Of course they don’t conform as much at the same pressure…that’s why you run less pressure in an E, because you can. It is also much, much, much more durable (same quality of tire) when aired down and...
Have you considered offering taller/stiffer front springs to level the front of a Sasquatch Bronco? Some companies offer that for Toyota IFS systems, and I used them initially with my FJ and it seemed to work better than spacer leveling.
