I had a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon that I just sold 4 weeks ago that had a clutch recall the entire time I owned it that they could not repair b/c they did not have the parts. They just repaired it 2 months ago. The recall said danger of fire and or clutch explosion. So Ford isn't the only one.

I see your point and I can see how my comment could be interpreted that way. My point was only that you must take more into account than can I move it and think about can I stop it. That includes all methods of making sure the trailer can be stopped.
Do you know how many people I have seen either towing without trailer brakes or towing with a vehicle that doesn't have a way to engage the trailer brakes? It isn't a "tired trope" b/c if you have trailer brakes, you have taken the "can you stop it" into account, hence the need for trailer brakes.
