I was going to use a relay and the side light power to engage the relay. That way the led comes on when the lights do. Is this a bad idea? I am not sure which wire is to the side lights.
What did you use as the power supply for the switch for the relay? I have a set of driving lights I am installing in my 2023 base bronco delivery May 2023 and I like the relay mounting location. I will check my mounting nuts.
I drive 40 minutes in AM to work and 1 hr 20 minutes home. They call it an expressway but I debate that. That includes hills and plenty of traffic. The best I got was traveling to Florida and I got 17.3 all Highway.
I only questioned the mileage because a large number of people say I get 20 to 23 MPG. Not necessarily complaining; just thinking maybe need something checked if I should expect more. Thought I would ask others.
No I have not done anything to it. I bought it used. The original owner had it for 2-1/2 months then I bought it. And put a bunch of miles on it. I have an oil change scheduled for next Monday. I will have the dealer check it.
Bought used base model Bronco. I bought it after they had owned it 2 1/2 months. They must have added an amp and. Pulled it out before trading it in. I have a kicker ground wire black. A blue wire and a cut speaker wire from woofer cover. Not sure what the blue wire is from and where to look for...
