It's the JCR bull bar and it does not affect the camera. #2 reason I bought it! I went to post up a link to it and it's no longer on their site. You may want to reach out and see if they can still make you one.
On the Raptor, the sump is flat and the oil can be drained from the top via a siphon. I did my first oil change with a Schwaben vacuum oil extractor (manual pump).
After I couldn't get any more oil out, I crawled underneath and pulled the drain plug. Nothing came out. I replaced the plug...
What'd that run and where are they located in Texas?
Edit: I used my google-fu and found their website. Actually quite affordable and the fact they have an exchange program is fantastic.
Those fasteners to remove the rear cover over the fogs is a major PITA. There's probably a specific tool to remove them easily. I think I used angled needle nose pliers (big ones) to get them all out and I still ended up destroying one. But yeah, once apart, the lights are held on by a few...
Def the bottom. Needs contrast to the white body and chrome/silver doesn't accomplish that and screams Florida man. And IMO, it looks cheap. BC Forged has this color called brushed dark black where the wheel surface has a brushed look and the top clear coat is tinted. Gives it a very three...
I second the CP-E, same size core as the Cobb but as Ninjak mentioned, the end tank has a divided runner system to keep flow high at lower throttle and boost levels. I noticed a slight improvement in throttle response installing the CP-E. The CP-E is also a bit less expensive than the Cobb...
I did a lot of little things I thought were missing. I call it my "practical" build as I didn't want to do a tune given I have an extended warranty. May find it helpful. https://www.broncoraptor.com/threads/apes-2023-practical-build.2439/
I daily drive mine, sometimes long, 2 hour commutes in traffic and it's never been an issue. With that said, I did retrofit the rear shutters and removed the front shutters from the housing and kept the housing for ducting air more efficiently towards the new IC.
I live in a state that's "hot...
Given how frequently I take the Braptor's top off, here are times I wish I did have a soft top to be honest. I've got removal and installation down to about 20 minutes or less these days but not as easy as say a Bestop e-top.
Might consider one of those if my top fails out of warranty...
I take my hard top off every chance I get. I've done six hour trips with the top off and regularly drive daily, weather permitting, to work with it off as well. I'll admit I have yet to see another Bronco in town do the same. This'll change when summer hits and it's 110 degrees for three...
I don't buy that theory. There are plenty of BRaptors with failed tops. Ironically there was another BRaptor at the dealership same time as mine, having the entire top replaced. The other one was a 24. My '23 had cracks in the top probably by around 10K miles.
I will say this....I have...
