Easy enough to fix. It’s just a matter of popping off one end of the pneumatic strut on bottom of tailgate (you must do this), closing tailgate, loosenping the four bolts holding tailgate to hinges, and sliding tailgate into the position you’d like. Then retighten bolts and reattach strut...
Is it a bad weld? Of course it is. Should that bumper have made it onto a vehicle? Of course not. Is it irritating? Absolutely. IMHO, the only proper fix is a new bumper. If you have a long term relationship with your dealer, they may replace it without a struggle. Otherwise, on the...
If you’ve lifted / changed / upgraded your coilovers and have an electronic disconnecting sway bar, check to make certain that the nuts holding the link between the sway bar and lower control arm on driver‘s side is tight at both ends, especially the bottom. If the answer is no to the coilover...
I’m older than you and can’t do a direct lift up and onto spare tire mount either. Divide and conquer, so to speak, is doable. When at home I have a sturdy oak bar stool that I precisely position beneath the mount. Then lean top of tire on the stool. Next, I grab bottom of tire and lift it...
I don’t pay for it. Unlike you, I didn’t like Ford’s nav enough to pay for it. I’m an apple guy so I’m ok w/ Apple Maps. Try Google Maps if you don’t like Apple Maps.
Our Bronco is a 2022 Badsquatch and was delivered w/ a soft top. We purchased our hardtop during the time period when Ford offered MIC tops to certain customers. Mistakenly thinking all issues had been resolved, we bought one (6/2024). In hindsight, a mistake. After eighteen months and...
Bought their aluminum version with reinforcing ribs to save weight. It’s bent up in the center some. Otherwise good shape. In hindsight, wish I’d bought the steel version. At least I could weld on it. Not set up to weld aluminum. Since then, I’ve installed a PPE aluminum transmission pan...
What kind of stuff do you put on the molle panels? What’s kept me from getting the window panels is it seems the size of items (thickness) is limited when mounted, especially If one wants the shelves to rotate.
Many, many folks here go with heavier tires and don’t report negative effects other than reduced mpg and perhaps a bit more noise depending upon the specific tire.
Can’t comment on HOSS 3 handling as my 22 Bronco doesn’t have it. Like you, I wanted a more robust tire than stock 35” Goodyears...
Thanks much. Watched you video, very good. Does it cover the trail beginning to end? We’re going to be in the Ouray area late July and were thinking about that trail.
Thanks again. Karl
